Nominate Her For The 25th Anniversary Capital Region Best Mom

The Albany Tulip Festival is back this year and will recognize the Capital District’s most magnificent moms. This coming Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, 2024, Albany Mayor Sheehan will be on hand to greet five finalists and crown the Capital Region Best Mom!

Join us at 11:00 am at Washington Park Lakehouse Stage for the Capital Region Best Mom crowning ceremony to see which mom out of the five finalists will be the winner!

For consideration of a deserving mom, please complete the nomination form and include an essay of 95 words or less. Your essay should explain why the nominee would make an excellent choice.

We are looking for moms who have proven a commitment to their family and their community. Entries must be received by noon on Saturday, April 6, 2024. A committee of judges will select one winner and four runners-up based on the essays received. All decisions are final. The five finalists will be contacted by phone by Thursday, April 11 and must agree to be present at the Tulip Festival on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Washington Park Lakehouse Stage where the winner will be announced.

Rules:

Nominees must be present at the awards ceremony at the Tulip Festival in Washington Park, Lake Theater, 11:00 am on Sunday, May, 12, 2024.

Entries must be received by noon April 6, 2024. One winner and four runners-up will be selected by a committee of judges. Winners will be the most deserving moms based on the essays received. All decisions are final. The five finalists will be contacted by phone by Thursday, April 11 and must agree to be present at the awards ceremony at the Tulip Festival.
